Testimonial
I contacted Nina Caron a year ago to seek her advice on nutrition to improve my energy level because my exercise routine was leaving me exhausted. I was very impressed with Nina's nutritional expertise particularly with respect to female runners. After an in-depth interview, she provided me with an extensive customized dietary plan complete with recipes, a 5 day menu sample, and the best pre and post workout foods. I have since completely changed my diet based on her suggestions and have noticed a marked increase in my energy levels particularly pre and post workout. I no longer experience the exhaustion I was feeling before seeking Nina's assistance.
In November, I began training with her to improve my strength and core stability. Previous to working with Nina, I had sustained a back injury while working with another trainer at a different health club. I transferred to Latitude Sports Club specifically to work with Nina because of her extensive training expertise and vast knowledge of the muscular-skeletal system. I realized immediately the true value of working with her extended well-beyond these facets to deliver a comprehensive training plan that is a great complement to Fernando's running outline and track workouts and has helped me to exceed my total fitness goals without injury. Variety in each work-out makes for an enjoyable and interesting hour that motivates me toward the next session.
Nina is a great listener who combines her understanding of my challenges, goals and personal health with her expertise as a trainer and runner to maximize the return of our work on my running and total fitness/well being. I truly feel that I am in the best shape of my life thanks to Nina. I am pleased to recommend Nina Caron for anyone seeking a true professional and equally nice person to help them reach and exceed their goals and improve their overall fitness. Massage Therapy
Zoe Alexi specializes in a variety of modalities (types of bodywork) to help facilitate the body's natural power to heal itself. Bodywork has many benefits - it induces relaxation while reducing stress, breaks down muscular tension, releases chronic holding patterns, increases range, ease, and fluidity of motion, promotes healthy circulation, and helps to bring the body back into balance.
How does massage help you?
Muscular Therapy (Massage) helps break down chronic muscle tension and restore muscles to their normal function. Stress, trauma and injuries are among the causes of chronic muscle contraction. This chronic tension can bring on pain, restricted movement, headaches and lack of circulation that may make every day activities difficult. Massage reduces muscle contraction by elongating and broadening the muscle fibers improving circulation and bringing needed blood and nutrients to the muscle tissue. Body care exercises done at home can help maintain the work that has been done in the session. Muscular therapy helps reduce pain, stiffness and stress and helps increase movement of the joints.
